FreeStyle Lancets (Abbott) — available at Edelweiss Pharmacy

FreeStyle lancets are the natural complement to FreeStyle Optium test strips: they are used to obtain the drop of capillary blood needed to measure glucose or ketones. They are sterile, single-use, and designed to make the finger prick as gentle as possible.

Main features:

Fine 28G gauge stainless steel needle with beveled tip: minimal penetration and less discomfort when pricking.
Sterile and single use: each lancet has an integral sterility cap that protects the needle until the moment of use.
Compatible with FreeStyle lancing devices (and most standard lancing devices), so they are also suitable for FreeStyle Optium Neo and FreeStyle Libre 2 users who perform capillary blood glucose testing.
Easy to load: twist-top system, no hassle.
Available in 100 and 200 unit formats, ideal for those who check themselves several times a day.

Usage advice: Change the lancet for each measurement; reusing it reduces sharpness, increases pain and the risk of infection.
