Generic of Dexeryl is a cream based on vaseline, paraffin and glycerol intended to treat dermatological conditions that cause more or less extensive skin dryness. 

 The film-forming effect with vaseline and liquid paraffin also physically inhibits evaporation, thus preventing skin dehydration. The moisturizing effect of glycerol helps maintain the skin's water balance; once applied, the cream leaves the skin matte, non-greasy but very soft and can be made up instantly, without waiting.

Indications

Action on dermatological lesions such as dry patches, pityriasis alba, superficial burns or scaly areas found particularly in psoriasis, ichthyosis or atopic dermatitis. In case of skin dryness, the glycerin, vaseline and paraffin contained  help deeply moisturize the skin. The cream  can be applied to the affected area several times a day. 
 

Contraindications

Its application is not  contraindicated in case of pregnancy or breastfeeding and can be used safely in case of overdose. 

However, in case of allergies to one of the excipients, it is better to consult a healthcare professional before applying it. 
 

Side effects

In addition to allergic reactions to one of the components of the cream, dermatological conditions may appear minutes after application. These reactions take the form of hives. Allergic eczemas may also appear due to the presence of propyl parahydroxybenzoate. In response to application, slight itching may occur. They are generally due to the action of the cream  on the treated areas.
