Description



Hemoliv is a venotonic medicine used to increase the tone of veins and the resistance of capillaries (small blood vessels).

It relieves symptoms related to hemorrhoids such as pain or inflammation in the anal area.


  • Hemoliv is indicated for adults over 18 years of age.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.


Directions for Use


Adults: 3 tablets per day during the first four days, and 2 tablets daily during the next 3 days. After this, a dose of 1 tablet per day may be maintained.


  • This medicine is administered orally.
  • Take the tablets with water to facilitate swallowing.
  • If you have difficulty swallowing them, you can split the tablet into equal doses.


Properties


Each tablet contains 1,000 mg of diosmin.


Excipients 


  • Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose (E-460), gelatin, sodium carboxymethyl starch (type A) (from potato), talc, and magnesium stearate.
  • Tablet coating: Opadry OY-L-28900 white (lactose monohydrate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, macrogol 4000), yellow iron oxide (E-172), and red iron oxide (E-172).
