Description


Dolovanz Forte tablets is a medicine whose active ingredient is dexketoprofen. Analgesic belonging to the group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or NSAIDs.


Dolovanz Forte tablets are indicated in adults for the short-term symptomatic treatment of acute mild or moderate pain such as:


Composition 


Dolovanz Forte in one sachet

Active ingredient: Dexketoprofen trometamol. Each sachet of oral solution contains 36.9 mg of dexketoprofen trometamol corresponding to 25 mg of dexketoprofen. Excipients: Ammonium glycyrrhizate, neohesperidin dihydrochalcone, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-218), sodium saccharin, sucrose, macrogol, lemon flavor (contains ethanol), povidone, anhydrous sodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate and purified water.

Joint pain. Muscle pain such as back pain. Sprains. Acute injuries. Menstrual pain. Dental pain.

Dosage

The dose of dexketoprofen you need may vary depending on the type, intensity and duration of pain. The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest time necessary to relieve symptoms. If you have an infection, consult a doctor without delay if symptoms such as fever and pain persist or worsen.

The recommended dose in adults over 18 years is generally: 1 tablet (25 mg dexketoprofen) every 8 hours, not exceeding 3 tablets per day (75 mg). Elderly patients or those with renal or hepatic impairment: Start treatment with a maximum of 2 tablets per day (50 mg dexketoprofen). Elderly patients: Start treatment with 2 tablets per day and may be increased if well tolerated to 3 tablets per day (75 mg dexketoprofen). Do not take dexketoprofen if you suffer from moderate or severe kidney problems, or severe liver problems. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Use in children and adolescents: It should not be used in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Method of Administration 

Take the tablets with an adequate amount of water. Take Dolovanz Forte tablets with food, as this helps reduce the risk of stomach disorders. If your pain is intense and you need quick relief, take the tablets on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before a meal, as they will be absorbed more easily. The tablet can be divided into equal doses.
