DOLIPRANE SYRUP

PARACETAMOL

Doliprane oral suspension 2.4% sugar-free is a medicine that contains paracetamol. Its use is reserved for children weighing between 3 and 26 kg. It is indicated in cases of pain, such as teething or headaches. It is also recommended to reduce fever, such as during flu, and to relieve pain.

COMPOSITION:

Doliprane is composed of paracetamol (2.40 g per 100 ml). It also contains, as excipients, malic acid, xanthan gum, liquid maltitol (LYCASIN), crystallizable sorbitol at 70 percent, sorbitol, anhydrous citric acid, ethyl, methyl and propyl hydroxybenzoate (NIPASEPT), strawberry flavor and purified water.

Composition of strawberry flavor: ethyl butyrate, cis 3 hexanyl, cis 7 hexenol, propylene glycol, benzyl alcohol, decalactone, vanillin.

POSOLOGY

The dose of Doliprane 2.4% syrup depends on the child's weight. It is necessary to know your child's weight before administering this medicine. The usual recommended dose of paracetamol is approximately 60 mg per kg per day

To administer Doliprane oral suspension, use the graduated pipette per half kilogram supplied with the bottle; use only this one. This allows administration of a dose of 15 mg per kg per dose. To administer the correct dose of Doliprane, insert the pipette into the bottle and pull the plunger up to the graduation corresponding to the child's weight. If necessary, this dose can be repeated every 6 hours, not exceeding 4 doses per day.

As an example, for a child weighing 4 kg, the dose per administration is one pipette (the one supplied only with the Doliprane bottle) filled up to graduation 4
