INDICATIONS:

This medicine belongs to the group of antifungals for external (topical) dermatological use.

This medicine is indicated for the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp.

Ciclopirox is a fungistatic antifungal of the pyridinone group. It acts by causing a depletion of fungal cellular electrolytes, leading to a reduction in the synthesis of nucleic acids and proteins. It has a broad antifungal spectrum, including dermatophytes and yeasts (Candida, etc.). It is also active against Trichomonas vaginalis. Ciclopirox nails is formulated in an 8% solution in a lacquer base that facilitates the fixation and penetration of ciclopirox into the corneal layer.

COMPOSITION

Active ingredient: CICLOPIROX olamine 1.5 g per 100 g

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Shampoo: - Adults: 2-3 times a week. A normal shampoo may be used on the days when ciclopirox shampoo is not applied.

Shampoo: apply to wet hair, gently massaging with fingertips to form lather. Leave on for 3-5 min and then rinse with water.
