The secretion of cortisol during chronic stress has a direct impact by lowering the synthesis of serotonin, a neurotransmitter involved in particular in mood regulation and therefore in some disorders such as anxiety. In addition, the lack of vitamin B6 reinforces the vicious circle of tension and also alters the metabolism of serotonin synthesis.
L-tryptophan naturally participates in the synthesis of serotonin, which is essential to maintain emotional balance and serenity. Combined with vitamin B6, it helps promote relaxation, especially during periods of overwork, and contributes to restful sleep.
Who should use Seroxyl?
Overwork, low morale, seasonal depression;
Restless sleep with night awakenings, difficulty falling asleep;
To quit smoking;
High-protein diets.
SEROXYL, 500 to 1000 mg L-tryptophan, an optimal combination
L-tryptophan in brief...
L-tryptophan is one of the eight essential amino acids in humans. An essential amino acid is one that cannot be synthesized by the body and therefore must be supplied in the diet.
L-tryptophan is found in meat, fish, milk and dairy products, eggs, legumes and nuts. It is the least abundant amino acid in the diet.
However, its role is important because L-tryptophan is a precursor of serotonin and melatonin.
Serotonin is an important neuromodulator of the central nervous system. It is involved in the regulation of mood, appetite and sleep cycles. It plays an essential role in maintaining emotional balance and serenity. Tryptophan, which is directly converted into serotonin, is the "fuel" that allows our central nervous system to remain balanced.
The effectiveness of L-tryptophan in the treatment of depression has been demonstrated by numerous clinical studies (2), and its effectiveness in reducing sleep disorders (3).
Associated advice: omega-3 to act simultaneously on emotional stability.
1 to 2 capsules in the morning and evening, still without food. Do not consume L-tryptophan with antidepressants (which also increase serotonin levels) without medical advice. Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
