Description
Dalfeine is a medicine that contains two active ingredients: paracetamol (500 mg) and caffeine (65 mg). Paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic, while caffeine helps to enhance the analgesic effect of paracetamol and reduce the drowsiness it may cause.
Dalfeine is indicated for the symptomatic relief of mild or moderate occasional pain and fever, such as:
- Headache
- Toothache
- Menstrual pain
- Muscle pain (contractures)
- Back pain (lumbago)
- Fever
Directions for Use
The recommended dose of Dalfeine for adults and adolescents over 15 years of age is 1 to 2 tablets (500–1000 mg of paracetamol and 65–130 mg of caffeine) every 4–6 hours, depending on the intensity of the pain or fever. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 4 tablets (2000 mg of paracetamol and 260 mg of caffeine).
Dalfeine tablets should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. They should not be chewed, sucked, or dissolved.

Composition
Dalfeine should not be taken in case of allergy to paracetamol, caffeine, or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Its use is also not recommended in patients with severe liver disease, severe renal failure, or active gastric or intestinal ulcers.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking Dalfeine.
Dalfeine may have some side effects, such as gastrointestinal discomfort (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea), nervousness, insomnia, dizziness, and tachycardia.
