Description

Variliv Diosmina is a venotonic medicine: it increases the tone of the veins and the resistance of the capillaries (small blood vessels).

It is indicated, in adults, for the relief of symptoms related to mild venous insufficiency of the lower limbs, such as pain, a feeling of heaviness, tightness, tingling and itching of the legs with varicose veins or swollen legs.

Directions for Use

The recommended dose is 1 tablet per day, preferably in the morning. The tablets should be taken with water to facilitate swallowing.

The tablet can be divided into equal doses.

Symptom relief usually occurs within the first 2 weeks of treatment.

If symptoms do not improve or worsen within the first 2 weeks of treatment, you should consult your doctor.

As directed by the doctor, treatment may be continued with the same daily dose (1 tablet daily) for up to 2–3 months.

Properties

Composition of Variliv Diosmina

The active ingredient is diosmin (1,000 mg per tablet).

The other ingredients are:

Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose (E-460), gelatin, sodium carboxymethyl starch (type A) (from potato), talc and magnesium stearate.

Tablet coating: lactose monohydrate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E-171), macrogol 4000, yellow iron oxide (E-172) and red iron oxide (E-172).
