Nicotinell 2 mg 96 fruit-flavored sugar-free chewing gums

Indicated for: Smokers of less than 20 cigarettes per day. Take one tablet each time you feel the urge to smoke.

Dosage:

• Initial dose: 1 tablet every 1-2 hours. Otherwise, take one tablet each time you feel the urge to smoke.
• Usual dose: 8-12 tablets per day.
• Maximum dose: 30 tablets per day.

Duration of treatment: Treatment duration should be adjusted individually. Normally, treatment should continue for at least 3 months. After this time, gradually reduce the amount of tablets until you stop treatment when the dose is reduced to 1-2 tablets per day. Generally, it is not recommended to continue treatment beyond 6 months. However, some "ex-smokers" may need longer treatment to prevent relapse. ¹ If you have difficulty stopping this medication after 9 months, seek the advice of a healthcare professional.
