Description:

The FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor is applied to the back of the arm with a disposable device called an applicator. When the sensor is applied, a sterilized, thin, flexible filament is inserted just under the skin. It is held in place with a small adhesive pad.

Get a glucose reading with a one-second scan of the FreeStyle LibreLink App over the sensor. The FreeStyle Libre system also has software (LibreView) that generates concise reports to help analyze glucose data.

Each time you take a sensor reading, you get the current glucose reading, the last 8 hours of your glucose history, and a trend arrow showing whether glucose is rising, falling, or changing slowly. The reader can take readings through clothing.
